Mentoring Hub

Our dedicated mentoring hub offers you the opportunity to meet with an expert mentor who will provide specific advice to help your organisation solve a problem or achieve a particular objective.

Mentors are locked in right up until the week before the conference, when all delegates will be emailed with a full list of mentors and instructions for how to register for a session.

Mentoring session bookings are not available before this time to allow all delegates the opportunity to book.

Keynote Presentation with Darren Kane, Chief Security Officer, nbn™ Australia

Speaker: Darren Kane

Darren Kane has been the Chief Security Officer at nbn™ since 2015. Under his leadership, the nbn Security Group has become a converged centre of physical and cyber security enabling Australia’s biggest critical infrastructure owner to better protect its people and assets against evolving threats. In 2020, Darren was appointed to the Federal Government’s Cyber Security Industry Advisory Committee to help guide the implementation of the nation’s Cyber Security Strategy and provide ongoing advice to address emerging cyber security challenges.

Closing keynote Presentation

3:30pm - 4:30pm

The closing keynote of the Connecting Up Conference will be delivered by a sector leader who understands technology but who fully grasps that the key drivers of the not-for-profit sector are our values and our impact on individuals in need. It is a chance for all delegates to refocus on what matters most - the people we help.

If you are unwell or become unwell at any time, please do not attend this year's event in person and follow the relevant advice from the Victorian and Federal Governments. 

 

Our hybrid event means you can still access all presentations, streams and virtual exhibition even if you cannot attend in person.

 

Online access is available to all delegates.
